AMS has a new solution for you to digitize your entire NDT radiographic film library for little to no cost. Let your Silver Rebate assist you in paying these costs! Transform your large costly film warehouse into one optical library rack!
AMS meets and exceeds the strictest images quality requirements (see specification chart below). Your images are captured on Mitsubishi Blu-ray Discs. Discs are batch sampled (including a QC report) and have 50- to 100-year archival lifespan. Discs are installed into jukebox holders in an optical library rack and have 600-terabyte capacity. A second set of discs is provided for disaster recovery purposes, allowing your entire image library to be stored in two different locations simultaneously.
As part of the film digitizing process, three software programs are used to automate workflow and ensure data integrity as well as an audit trail for accountability. In addition to digitizing your films, we add all of your metadata (as well as a photo of the sleeve) to allow for quick retrievals. These digital retrievals can be sent electronically to your authorized personnel.
